Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2025

1. About Us

Rapid Key 24/7 is a mobile auto locksmith service operating across the Cotswolds, Midlands, and South of England. By using our services or contacting us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

For any queries, contact us at [email protected] or 07348 263586.

2. Our Services

We provide mobile auto locksmith services including, but not limited to:

  • Car lockout assistance
  • Key cutting
  • Transponder key programming
  • Ignition repair and replacement
  • Spare key making

All services are carried out by trained and experienced technicians. We reserve the right to decline a job if we believe it cannot be completed safely or legally.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided over the phone or via WhatsApp are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may vary if the job proves more complex than described, or if additional parts or labour are required. We will always inform you of any change in price before proceeding.

A call-out fee may apply depending on your location and the time of day. This will be communicated to you before we dispatch a technician.

4. Proof of Ownership

For the safety and security of all vehicle owners, we require you to provide satisfactory proof that you are the registered owner or authorised user of the vehicle before we carry out any work. Acceptable proof includes a V5C logbook, insurance certificate, or other official documentation.

We reserve the right to refuse service if satisfactory proof of ownership or authorisation cannot be provided.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept cash and bank transfer. We reserve the right to request a deposit for parts-intensive jobs.

6. Liability

We take every care to carry out work to a professional standard using non-destructive methods wherever possible. However, we cannot be held liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to the vehicle or its locking mechanisms
  • Damage that is unavoidable due to the nature of the job (e.g. a lock that must be drilled as a last resort)
  • Any indirect or consequential losses arising from the service

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

7. Cancellations

If you need to cancel a callout after a technician has been dispatched, a call-out fee may be charged to cover travel costs. Please contact us as soon as possible if you no longer require the service.

8. Response Times

We aim to reach you within 30 minutes on average, but response times may vary depending on your location, traffic conditions, and technician availability. Quoted response times are estimates only and do not form part of any contract.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
